School Christian Values
In Term 1 2014 the school reviewed our main core Christian values. We gathered ideas from children, parents, governors and staff.
We collated all the ideas to form our four main Christian Values of Care, Courage, Respect and Responsibility which are based on the story of The Good Samaritan. Each value is linked to a British Value.
Every year at our Governor Strategy Day in September, we review the Values to ensure they are working for our school, and that they are reflected in our three year strategic plan along with our vision.
From our every day interactions with the children, to specific lessons and times, our values are taught through and woven into Collective Worship, RE lessons, circle time and through our behaviour policy. They are an intrinsic part of the school: running through it like words through a stick of rock!
