Preparing children for their future in an ever-changing world

Chicks!

We have had our first hatching!

The first 4 chicks hatched over night and what busy bodies they have been.

Already asserting his dominance, our oldest chick (named Hercules) had fully fluffed out his feathers. Alongside him, Athena, Samson and Thor were hopping around the incubator ready to move into the brooder.

By the afternoon, 9 out of the 10 eggs had hatched and our 3 biggest, fluffiest chicks had moved into the brooder.

The eggs have arrived!

On Monday, we had a delivery of 10 eggs along with an incubator

and a brooder for them to live in over the next 10 days.

The class were very excited to await the hatching of the eggs!
